A Midsummer Night's Dream
After a successful South African tour this spring, the Vrijthof concerts were all about Africa this year. André invited the South African soloists from the tour to take part in this summer's Vrijthof concerts: the fantastic young soprano Kimmy Skota from Cape Town, the Bloemfontein Children's Choir and the children from the Hout Bay Music Project provided a real South African atmosphere. This fabulous summer evening concert also featured the sopranos Mirusia Louwerse and Carmen Monarcha, the Platinum Tenors and the Berlin Comedian Harmonists. The evening has an upbeat end with a guest appearance from DJ Ötzi. This is a truly fantastic concert that you really can't miss!
André Rieu - Roses from the South
Themed around Johan Strauss' famous waltz of the same name, Roses From The South sees Andre venturing to the amazing sub tropical paradise island of Mainau, just off the south shore of Germany. Known as the 'Flower Island' due it its unique exotic gardens, Mainau and its majestic palace grounds provide the perfect picturesque setting for Andre and his Johan Strauss Orchestra to perform a spellbinding set in front of a sea of adoring fans.

More than 50.000 elated people sang and danced with André, before the Ajax-Olympic Marseille game, to the tones of The Second Waltz and The choir of the Hebrew Slaves. It was an overwhelming success! Just as 15 years ago, at the game against Bayern München.

The energy and the enthusiasm of these 50.000 people, all waving little flags was really fantastic. Right from the first tonesgoose bumps for everyone. I am glad to be coming back to the Amsterdam ArenA on September 5th, with the Schönbrunn Castle, said André Rieu. The fans in the stands sway in time with the music and hum along enthusiastically, as do the TV viewers.

New York | Live at Radio City Music Hall
André Rieu has created a unique mix of the high points of American and European romantic music. Besides the well-known tunes from films and musicals, he also plays the world-famous hit by Frank Sinatra My Way and the fabulous Music of the Night from The Phantom, both as wonderful violin soloist, as well as the moving Nuns Chorus by Johann Strauss and the fiery Italian song that is so popular in New York, Torna a Surriento
André Rieu - Romantic Paradise (Live in Italy)
While on a short holiday in Italy with family and friends, I found myself visiting a small town in Tuscany called Cortona, and I fell in love with it immediately. What an atmosphere! My fans would love this place! And when I wandered into the centre of Cortona I just couldn't believe my luck: right in the middle of the town was the perfect location for my new special: the Piazza Della Repubblica... This was the exact spot, right here between these buildings, These were the ideas that marked the start of what was to become the Romantic Paradise adventure in Cortona. Even though André knew, right from the beginning, that the special release would be a very beautiful one, the final result has exceeded all expectations.
